In modern economy have always been two types of taxation: - formal, rubbed-in-the-face income tax - and hidden, sly taxes like inflation and so forth We the society are recently being conditioned to percieve levying the latter as a normal govermental routine. Of old, we saw it as an outcome of bad (unpredictable) economic circumstances and as such the word of it was never welcome; but now we've been convinced to welcome these "well-meaning" practices. So the goverment doesn't have to do it in secret any longer or invent any farfechted excuses.
