Brytyjska policja próbuje zidentyfikować mężczyznę, który zginął w wypadku na torach kolejowych.
Poniżej podajemy treść apelu British Transport Police w wersji oryginalnej:
“Detectives from British Transport Police (BTP) are re- appealing for the public’s help to identify a man who was hit by a train in Wakefield last Friday and have released a sketched image of the man in the hope that someone may recognise him.
The man was struck by a train and killed on the line between Horbury Junction and Wakefield Kirkgate station at 7.50pm on Friday, 12 June.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a number of attempts to identify him have been undertaken but to no avail. Investigators are now releasing the image in the hope that someone may know who he is.
He is described as, white, aged approximately 25-35 years of age, approximately 5ft 8, and of a slim muscular build. He had brown eyes, short brown hair and a stubbly goatee beard with stubble tram lines along his jaw. He also had his left ear pierced and was missing a right upper tooth.
He was wearing a white T-shirt, white Adidas trainers with burgundy stripes and what appears to be three quarter length blue denim trousers,
He had a distinctive tattoo on his right forearm in gothic lettering possibly spelling ‘TER’.
Detective Inspector Mick Dawes of British Transport Police, said: “We are really hopeful that someone may recognise the man from the image”.
“It is really important that we establish the man’s identity to allow us to inform his family and this is why I am asking for the public’s help.
“The man had no identification on him and we have been working closely with West Yorkshire Police but so far no-one missing in the local area fits the man’s description.
“This man is someone’s son, and maybe a brother, father or friend. If you know someone matching his description we need to hear from you so we can identify him and inform his family as soon as possible. If you recognise him, please contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016 quoting reference 538 of 12/6/2015.”
