Smart Solutions Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our successful client based in the West Lothian/Broxburn area. Our client is a leading recycling company in UK.
English and Polish language are a must for this role.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm
Pay: £11.94 p/h
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and monitor a team of sort line operatives
Monitoring of pick rates
Mentoring and monitoring of poor performers focused on improving performance
Mentoring, monitoring, training of new starters
Evaluate new starter performance during ‘probationary period’
Mentoring, monitoring, training of new starters
Monitoring and manage the issue of PPE
Support with accident investigations and support any corrective actions
Manage and deal with ‘no shows’ and absence
Support Account Managers with the planning of shifts
Ensure that housekeeping is kept to a high standard at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience of team leading in a production environment;
Experience of working in waste, recycling or production environments;
Excellent level of English and Polish;
Good communication skills at all levels;
Strong motivational and interpersonal skills;
Initiative, drive and enthusiasm;
Good planning and organizational skills;
The ability to work calmly under pressure;
Excellent understanding of Health and Safety Legislation;
The ability to train staff in recycling techniques and processes;
Previous experience of team leading in a production environment;
