WFS Technologies is the world leading supplier of low frequency radio systems for through-water and through-ground wireless communication, location and navigation. The companys innovative products are targeted at defence and oil & gas markets. WFS is seeking a number of Manufacturing Technicians to join an expanding team at our offices in Livingston, Scotland.
Main duties include;
Electronics Product Assembly:
-PCB inspection
-PCB programming
-Tuning of electrical components
-Mechanical assembly
-Rework
-Specify and maintain assembly procedures
Product Test:
-Conduct in-line and final test
-Specify and maintain test documentation
Maintain manufacturing documentation
-Test results
-Traceability information
-Goods in and out
Required Experience
-Minimum 1 year experience in electronic product manufacturing
-Good problem solving skills
-Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
-Ability to work to tight timescales
-Good communication skills
Preferred Experience
-PCB fault finding and debugging to component level
-Experience of ISO9001 quality systems
