PART-TIME HOTEL CLEANING OPERATIVES

BlueThistle Commercial Cleaning Services Ltd is looking for 5 reliable and experienced Part-Time Cleaning Operatives to join our hotel cleaning team.

This is a high-standard 5-star hotel cleaning role, so we are looking for people who take genuine pride in their work and understand what exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards mean.

THE ROLE

- 5 Part-Time positions available
- Monday to Sunday – including weekends
- Shifts: 10:00–14:00 or 11:00–14:00
- Fixed working hours – we are NOT a flexible-hours employer
- Candidates must be able to commit to the agreed schedule
- Hotel environment with very high cleaning and presentation standards
- Working independently while following agreed procedures and quality standards

PAY

- First 6 months: £13.00 per hour
- After 6 months: £13.50 per hour
- After 15 months: £14.00 per hour
- Paid monthly through payroll

The successful candidates must have:

- Very high cleaning standards and attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time management
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good physical fitness – this role involves active, physical work
- Ability to work efficiently under time pressure
- Professional attitude and good personal presentation
- Previous hotel or high-standard commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Clean criminal record / satisfactory background check
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work weekends when scheduled
- Able to commit to the fixed working hours
- Able to maintain a consistently 5-star standard of cleaning

This role is not suitable for candidates looking for flexible or changing working hours.
