Offline Events, organisers of the bi-annual Spectrum festival, are very happy to announce a special workshop and performance at Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms on Monday 3rd November by producer/label boss/mastering engineer and illustrious sound architect Stefan Betke a.k.a Pole. This is the only Scottish date!
From 2pm – 4pm, Stefan will share some of his wisdom at a unique workshop and Q&A at Edinburgh University’s Alison House, 12 Nicolson Square, home of the MSc Sound Design Course.
In the evening Pole will play a live set to demonstrate some of the techniques discussed during the day, and to promote the re-release of his first three albums (blue, red and yellow as a 3 CD digifile accompanied by booklet , with booklet text - appropriately titled 1,2,3 - by Rob Young (The Wire). His set will also feature tracks from last years Steingarten, which has been remixed by a crack team of artists and producers consisting of the likes of Mike Huckaby, The Mole, deadbeat and Shackleton.
