Backshift cleaner Hygiene Operative

The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 11am to 6.30pm.

The starting hourly rate offered is £14 per hour.

We are currently looking for a backshift Cleaner / Hygiene Operative for an immediate start with our client in Penicuik.

We are looking for long-term, permanent workers. Industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage but the position does not require previous experience as training and time to get up to speed will be given.

Tasks and duties included in the role:

As a hygiene operative your tasks will include deep cleaning the factory. Specifically:

Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks in the production areas
Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards
Post cleaning checks to make sure standards and procedures have been completed properly
Working within the food safety/health & safety and specific site regulations
Essential skills and abilities expected of candidates:

Great communication skills
Being comfortable working in a chilled food environment
Able to work confidently and responsibly unsupervised or as part of a team
