Mackenzie Fit Recruitment are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various machinery within a manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components, while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols.
Role Overview:
To operate machinery as per the Standard Operating procedures
Operating complex machinery – quick decision making to ensure product is produced to the highest standards.
Controlling product quality and weights to achieve product quality and customer specs.
Record production data that ensures full product traceability.
Ensure that a safe work environment exists by adhering to the company health and safety and environment policies and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation.
Ensure that all duties are undertaken in compliance with the company's policies and procedure.
Deliver set targets against production plan by ensuring material yield and machine availability is optimised.
GMP – clean as you go within working area.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machinery maintenance
Experience with Quality Control processes
Skilled in using Hand Tools
Strong Communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Previous experience in manufacturing would be an advantage
